Adrian Sanchez Jr.

Adrian Sanchez Jr., an amazing son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson and friend. Adrian "Dada" Sanchez Jr. received his wings and was called home with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. After a protracted battle with leukemia, he passed away December 15, 2016 in Texas Children's Hospital at the age of 17.
Adrian was born on Aug. 15, 1999 in Galveston, Texas to Viviana Quintana Cordova and Adrian Sanchez Sr. He attended Columbia High School in West Columbia where he loved to hangout with family and friends. He loved to shoot guns, whether it was going to the shooting range or playing nerf guns . He knew he was loved , especially on the 9th floor at Texas Children's Hospital. He loved trying new food at least once but mostly his wings from Wing King . He also loved to travel. He swam with the sharks in Bora-Bora which was an unforgettable trip. He loved to be with family listening to crazy stories and acting all crazy with his cousins.
Adrian is survived by his parents, Viviana and Jorge Cordova; sisters, Vianka Cordova, Kherilany Fuentes, Adrianna & Michel Sanchez, along with brother, Uriel Sanchez ; father, Adrian Sanchez Sr. and girlfriend, Glady Peregrino; uncles, Manuel Felix Cordova, Jorge, Eduardo & Jesus Sanchez; aunts, Veronica, Griselda, Concepcion, Fabiola and Carolina Felix Cordova, Anabel & Susana Sanchez; immediate uncles, Billy Burrows, Felipe Quintana, Martin Villagomez, & Rufino Armendariz; aunts, Patricia Burrows, Rubicela Villagomez, Mari Quintana, Laura Ramos, Gaby Armendaiz, and Shelly Figueroa; VIP cousins, Billy, Brianna, and Frank & Samantha Burrows , Chrissy, Moises, Tony, Martin Villagomez, Issac & Mateo Quintana, Isabel & Erik Armendariz, Lupita & Jorge Sanchez; grandparents, Josefina & Felipe Quintana, Ma Conchi Cordova Guzman and Maria Guadalupe Mendoza and Teodoro Sanchez.
Funeral services will be held on Tues. December 20, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with burial to follow at Columbia Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00 pm.
