Alice Taylor

Alice Darnell Taylor, 67 of West Columbia, went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born on October 16, 1950 in Freeport, Texas to Arnold Leon and Mary Frances (Plant) Simons. Alice was known to have a contagious smile and gave the best hugs. She had a great love for God and her family.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Wild Peach Community Church with Jan Reddick officiating.

Alice is survived by the love of her life, Robert Wesley Taylor of Angleton; daughters, Sheila Lynn Fielding and husband, Robert Alan of West Columbia, Tonya Annette Sikes and husband, Robert Keith of Alvin, and Shenna Marie Taylor and her love, Clifton Joe Page of Rosharon; brothers, David Simons of Trinity, Mike Simons of Freeport, Paul Simons of Sweeny, and Timothy Lee Simons of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Michelle Sober and husband, James, Christopher Fielding and wife, Samantha, Joshua Fielding, Andrew Sikes, Jonathan Neville, Dominic Fielding, Ivy Curl and husband, Matthew, Kelsie Speights and husband, John, and Seth Neville; great-grandchildren, Katthrine Fielding, Brennan Fielding, Everly Sober, Arryn Fielding, Caryss Fielding, Amelia Curl, Raylin Sikes, with 2 more on the way; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
