Alma Womack

Alma Louise Womack, 86, of Brazoria, Texas, passed from this life on Thursday, November 29, 2018 in Lake Jackson, Texas. She was born on August 18, 1932 in Lovelady, Texas to Walter and Ruby (Stewart) Buchanan. She was a faithful and true believer in God and Jesus and lived her life according to His Word. Alma loved spending time with her family and loved her children and grandchildren deeply. She will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, 3007 TX-332 W. Lake Jackson, Texas 77566, with Nathan Bienhoff officiating. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, December 3, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in Brazoria. Serving as pallbearers will be Nath Womack III, Richard Womack, Jr., Ralph Earl Womack, Tracy Womack, Richard Womack, Sr., and Elijah Earl Womack. Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers, Walter, Horace, Darrell, and James Buchanan.

Alma is survived by her daughters, Patricia Womack, Nadine Womack, and Mary Beth Womack-Emberland; sons, Nath Womack, Jr., Glenn Womack and wife Susana Ritchie Womack, Tracy Womack, and Ralph Womack and wife Jolie Womack; grandchildren, Richard Womack, Jr. (Ricky), Nath Womack III, Ashley Harris, Elijah Womack, Riley Womack, Lila Womack, Carly Womack, Blake Womack, Dylan Womack, Audra Womack, and Elise Womack; great-grandchildren, Laylah Womack and Davina Harris; brothers, Walter B. Buchanan and wife Kathy (Kathleen), Horace L. Buchanan and wife Laverne, Darrell W. Buchanan, and James E. Buchanan and wife Linda; along with sister, Mildred I. Buchanan- Carlton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nath Crockett Womack, Sr.; father, Walter Vincent Buchanan; mother, Ruby Iva Stewart Buchanan; brother, Charles V. Buchanan; and sister, Johnnie Mae Buchanan Clark.
