Andy Franco Gonzalez

May 23, 1996 — February 25, 2021

VerCruz, Mexico

Andy Leonel Franco Gonzalez 24, of West Columbia, Texas passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021. He was born May 23, 1996 in VeraCruz, Mexico.

“For those who don’t know our story me and Andy have been together since I was 15 and he was 16. We met through a mutual friend of ours and became friends instantly. Every-time I asked him what he thought of me when we first met, he would say “I thought you were cute.” and I would always tell him he was exactly what I prayed for, “Tall, dark and handsome who was goofy and kind”. Never would I have thought I would meet the Love of my Life at a young age. We started dating on October 8th of 2012. We graduate Highschool and moved in together at the age of 18 and 19. Not long after we were expecting out first son, Gabriel. We had got married on November 21, 2016 and had our son on November 26th of 2016. We were the happiest we could be. I’ll never forget when he cried when he held his son for the very first time. We went on cool trips to new locations we had never been. We worked hard and loved hard. Three years later we were expecting our second son, Nathaniel. Life was busy and before we knew it, I woke up one morning in labor. Andy was a nervous wreck; we had a long drive to get to the hospital and he was afraid I was going to give birth on the side of the road. We made it in time and our second son was born on December 6th of 2019. Even then, Andy still cried tears of joy for his second son. Our family got even bigger when not long after I became pregnant with our only daughter, Sophia. She was actually a surprise pregnancy because we weren’t expecting to be pregnant again so quickly. But like everyone has been telling me, everything happens for a reason. I remember that day when I came home with ultrasound results. We had been hoping for a girl but were prepared for another boy. When Andy broke the piñata and saw the pink confetti, he couldn’t help but cry. He finally got his baby girl. Andy was so excited to meet Sophia, he would always kiss my tummy and say, “I love you mama, I can’t wait to meet you and play dress up with you.” We built a strong, loving family together. Losing the only love, I have ever known is unimaginable. While he is not here physically, I can feel that he is around spiritually. I’ll never stop loving Andy Leonel Franco Gonzalez.

Forever and Always.”
