Annie Ferrell

Annie Ferrell, 95, of West Columbia, Tx passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on April 12, 2022. Annie was born on October 19, 1926, in Iago, Tx to Vaclov and Karolina Dloughy.

She was raised on her family’s farm until she graduated high school.  After graduation, Annie left the farm and traveled to California to live with her sister, Pat. It was there that she met her husband, Ben during WWII.  She and Ben were married on March 30, 1946. They moved back to Texas to be closer to family and started a landscaping business. In 1983, Ben passed away and Ann then joined her many friends at the First Baptist Church, West Columbia where they traveled the United States and Canada together for many years.

Annie enjoyed her time with the garden club, family and grandkids. You would always find her beautiful face with a smile.

She is preceded in death by her parents, many siblings, husband Ben and daughter Laury.

Her surviving relatives include her son, Alan (Melany), son-in-law Mark, grandchildren Brandon Ferrell (Ashley), Nathan Ferrell, Shawn Maroul (Leaha), Amanda Maroul, Jamie Mikulec and close niece Patricia Wislon.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church West Columbia, with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memoria Park in Van Vleck, Tx.
