Anthony Standley

Anthony “Tony” Standley, 56, of Oyster Creek, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Lake Jackson, Texas after a short illness.

Tony was born on January 26, 1965. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Marie Dugan and parents, Sidney and Barbara Means.

Tony enjoyed fishing, painting, and drawing. During his law enforcement career Tony received both the Life Saving Award and 100 Club Officer of the Year Award.

Tony is survived by his daughters Kristin Standley and Shelby Standley; grandchildren Odin, Matilda, Lily, and Lucy; sisters Paula Schroller and Cynthia Adams; brother Lynn Means and niece Nicole Roark.

A visitation with friends and loved ones will be on Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 9:00am until 10:00am in the chapel of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, in West Columbia, with funeral services to follow at 10:00 am.
