Antonio Perez Jr.

Antonio Perez Jr, 74 of Sweeny, Texas passed away on Sunday November 21, 2021. He was born on June 9, 1947, to Antonio and Margarita Perez.

Antonio was an Army Veteran who fought in the Vietnam war. While in Vietnam, Antonio received the Purple Heart. He loved to fish, play pool, and to watch his grandchildren play sports. Antonio worked for Dow as an operator for 29 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Margarita Perez; Sister, Janie Hernandez; Brother, Jesse Perez.

Antonio is survived by his daughter, Angela Perez-Smith; Son, Anthony and wife Tammy Perez; Ex-Wife, Frances Canales; Sisters, Delfina Soria and Herminie Hinojosa; Brothers, Carlos Perez and Joe Perez; Grandchildren, Christy A. Perez, Christopher A. Perez, Joshua Perez, Samantha D. Smith, Stephanie R. Jones, Elijah J. Smith, Matthew H. Foster, Lathan B. Foster. Antonio also has 8 great grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021, rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, in West Columbia.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of C. T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, in West Columbia.
