Benny Kelley

Benny Eugene Kelley, 55, of Brazoria, TX, passed away on April 23, 2021. He was born on October 30, 1965 in Freeport, Tx to Samuel Kelley and Martha Kelley Monclova. After graduating from West Columbia High School, he married Vicki Mathews.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always the life of the party. Benny spent a lot of his time with the grandkids and playing video games and riding the four-wheeler. He loved working on and fixing anything he could get his hands on. He was an all around down to earth, fun loving man.

Benny is survived by his mother, Martha Monclova; wife, Vicki Kelley; son, Chris Kelley and wife Erin; daughter, Amanda Smerek and husband Matthew; grandchildren, Rylea, Janice, Cameron, Elijah, and Colt; sister, Dianne and husband Bobby McNeely; brother, Mitchell and wife Alicia Kelley; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Benny is preceded in death by his father Samuel (Benny) Kelley.

Pallbearers will include Greg Nelson, Bobby McNeely, Paul Nelson, Tyson Rhone, Kenney Jakubec, and Wes Jeffcoat.

Honorary Pallbearers include Christopher Kelley, Matthew Smerek, Cameron Smerek, Elijah Kelley, and Colt Kelley.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, 634 S. Columbia Dr., West Columbia.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia. Burial will immediately follow at Brazoria Cemetery.

Benny “Red” was loved by many and will be missed.
