Betty/ MoMo, 83, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 5:18 am. A visitation will be held on September 25, 2026, at 10 am at C.T. Baker and Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas. A celebration of life Service will follow at 12 noon followed by a graveside service in Guy, Texas.

Betty was born on July 22, 1943, in Rosenberg, Texas to TJ and Eunice Marth. She enjoyed being an only child for fifteen years until her brother John "Moochie" made his appearance in 1958. She married C.D. Kalinowski in December 1973, who brought Aaron Kalinowski into her life.

Betty grew up in League City, Texas. She loved to go with her papa any chance she got, definitely a daddy’s girl. Betty’s love for animals was very apparent at a young age. When other children were out riding bikes around the town, she was riding her horse with a dog in tow. Her most beloved pet was Little Man, her dog which is in her casket with her.

Betty worked at many jobs throughout her lifetime. She worked at NASA, Kulver’s Restaurant, The Yellow Rose Tavern, took care of a special needs child in her home, and finished her career at the Fort Bend Count Precinct 3, as chief clerk.

Betty was a member of Fort Bend Count Trail Riders Association. She loved to go on trail rides with the family. She of course had plenty of food and drinks packed so no one would go hungry. She was also a member of the German Society of League City.

Betty was a people person and her hobbies showed that. She loved going on cruises and spoke about meeting so many people, not about the sites seen. She loved gambling and meeting people as she sat at her penny and nickel slots. She hosted parties at her home to play dominoes and cards. She loved cooking. If you left her presence hungry, it was your own fault. In the latter years, gardening was her favorite thing to do.

Betty is survived by her son Justin Kalinowski and wife Lee; Aaron Kalinowski and wife Connie; grandkids Rylan Kalinowski; Taylor Ferrel and husband Michael; Colton Beal; Cody Kalinowski and wife Janna; Walker Kalinowski; Jodi Kalinowski; and a great grandchild, Samuel Ferrel.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents T.J. and Eunice Marth, brother John Marth and her beloved dog Little Man.
