Betty Lyons

Betty Jean Lyons, 84 of Brazoria, Texas passed away, Sunday, September 10, 2017. She was born September 24, 1932 in Fowl River, Alabama to Cornelius Louis and Geneva (Zirlott) Lyons. She worked in many areas of the seafood industry.

Memorial services will be held 11:00am, Friday, September 15, 2017 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Craig Taylor officiating.

Betty is survived by her sons, Clarence Lyons and Emanuel (Manny) Lyons; daughters, Doanie Morgan, Darleaine Lyon and husband, Jeffrey; Tamie Lyons, Vanessa Ward and husband, Walter; and Pamela Williams and husband, Marcus; brother, John Lyons and wife, Arlene; sister, Clora Trochesset and husband, Kenny; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Lyons; brothers, Bud Lyons and William Lyons; sisters, Agnes Trosclair, Mildred Lyons, Madelene Nelson, Ersula Nolan and Margaret Collier, and grandson, Adam Nevarez.
