Billy Glenn Davidson, 91, of Brazoria, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 1, 1933, in Tyler, Texas.

Bill attended the University of Texas and was a lifelong fan of Longhorn football and baseball. He was also devoted to and proudly cheered for both the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros.

Bill loved his family deeply and nothing meant more to him than to spend time with them. He loved to reminisce about his younger days playing fast-pitch softball – and took great pride in having once played against the legendary “King and his Court” softball team. His passion for the game and for sharing those stories was matched only by his love for the beautiful San Bernard River, where he spent over 50 years fishing, boating, and enjoying time with his family and friends.

A beloved father and grandfather, Bill is survived by his children, Michael Davidson of Rhome, Texas; Dianna Northen and husband, Darrell of Cypress, Texas; Linda Jalufka and husband, Mark of San Marcos, Texas; Suzanne Bischof and husband, Mike of Friendswood, Texas; Mary Heldman and husband, John; Tammie Davidson and husband, Ronnie Medina, all of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Harriet Lee Davidson; his parents, W.A. and Cecil Davidson; his daughters, Donna Schultz and Debbie Garrett; his sister, Barbara Dillon; and three grandsons.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday August 2nd from 10 - 11 AM at First United Methodist Church, Brazoria.  His funeral service will begin at 11 AM.  Interment to follow at Brazoria Cemetery.

Bill’s grandsons, Michael Northen, Bryce Hogan, Jonathon Bischof, Raymond Jalufka, Samuel Bischof and John Jalufka will serve as pallbearers.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Charles Jalufka & Zachary Medina.
