Blane Muirheid

July 30, 2007 — October 28, 2018

Blane Joshua Muirheid was born in Angleton on July 30, 2007. Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Memorial Hermann Hospital, Blane was called home and gained his wings at a very young age with his mother and father along his side, surrounded by his family and many friends. He left more lasting impressions on more people than most will in a lifetime. Blane was an organ donor and helped the lives of seven people. Blane absolutely had a soft for animals, especially his pet squirrels, "Pipper and Turbo."

Blane never owned video games. He loved the outdoors too much. He enjoyed fishing with his dad and brothers and hunting and taking trips to the deer lease with family and friends. Two years ago was when he harvested his first deer with his dad and Blane couldn't have been more excited. Blane was known for his honesty, sometimes a little too much, and it may have caused him a trip or two to the principal's office. He lived up to his nickname, Lil Mayhem, and most recently had acquired Wreck it Ralph from his Aunt Amy. He loved so many things in life including baseball. He had played every year since t-ball. On the field he played pitcher/catcher. Blane also loved motorcycles (Harley Davidson's) and dirt bikes. Blane had formed a special bond with his pawpaw. He loved mowing the grass with his tractor and his little trips to I-hop everyday for breakfast. His granny held a special place in his heart and loved fishing with her as well as her bringing him lunch to school. They truly broke the mold with him. He is loved by so many friends and family and is going to be greatly missed. Son, your life was a blessing. Your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Fly high baby boy, Love mom and dad.
