Calvin Warren Strother, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on April 27, 2025, in Brazoria, TX, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 18, 1966, in Sweeny, TX, Calvin's journey through life was marked by hard work, devotion, and a selfless helping spirit that touched everyone he encountered.

For many years, Calvin dedicated his career to being a millwright in various chemical plants and shops, an occupation he retained with pride and commitment. His skills, reliability and no-nonsense approach made him a respected figure among his colleagues. In addition to his impressive career, Calvin proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he earned his honorable discharge, showcasing his dedication to service and community.

Calvin married his soulmate, Tammy, on August 8, 2014, in Sweeny, TX. Their love was a testament to companionship, building a life filled with happiness, laughter, and shared dreams. Together, they created a nurturing home where family was always at the forefront.

Calvin was a devoted father to his son, Eric Strother, and his wife Amy of Wild Peach, TX, as well as a loving stepfather to his two stepdaughters, Samantha Culler of Coldspring, TX, and Gladys Higginbotham of LaMarque, TX. His ability to create special moments with them is something that will be treasured by their hearts forever.

Survived by his wife Tammy, his mother Patricia Peden and her husband Walter of Leggett, TX, and all his children and grandchildren, Calvin's warmth and kindness touched many. He had a zest for life and embraced every moment, he loved spending time in the great outdoors with his family, especially his brother Don Strother of Sweeny, TX and cousin Ricky Mears of Brazoria, TX.
