Caroline Wleczyk

Caroline Elaine Wleczyk, 7, of Richmond, Texas, gained her wings on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was born on February 5, 2011 in Katy, Texas to Billy and Claire (Darby) Wleczyk.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 am Monday, October 8, 2018 at Faith United Methodist Church, 4600 FM 359 Richmond, Texas 77406, with Pastor John Stephenson officiating.

Caroline has touched countless people in her short life. She captured the hearts of everyone she met and brought out the best in others. She was the strongest and most courageous little girl! Her sweet, gentle spirit was evident to all those around her. Her signature bow was always there in those beautiful curls, from the NICU until the day she earned her wings. We take comfort knowing she is dancing, giggling, and twirling around in heaven, doing all those things her earthly body did not allow. So fly free sweet angel and know that you are forever in our hearts! "Be Strong and Courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

Caroline is survived by her parents, Billy and Claire Wleczyk; sister, Harper Lynn Wleczyk; devoted puppy, Lucy Lu; grandparents, Jerry Wayne and Bebe Wleczyk, Frances Baird, and Brent Darby; great-grandparents, Billie Marie Scheel, Glenn and Gina Randle, John and Anna Walker; aunts and uncles, J. W. and Regina Wleczyk, Elliott and Shari Baird, Elizabeth Sassin, Wayne and Eileen Slaton; along with cousins, Caylie, Camrin, Bodey, Madison, Gavin, Garrett, Ellie, Elena, and a host of friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Baird.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Caroline's Angels here on Earth. Dr. Krystal Batchelor, Eva Lerma, Sume, Mikayla Kramer, Kellie Grahmann, Eda Lewis, Heather Walker, and the Memorial Hermann Pediatric Hospice team.
