Charles Lee Bostrom, born on March 17, 1952, in New Richmond, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home in Sweeny, Texas, on August 19, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family during his final moments, a testament to the deep connections he fostered throughout his life.

Charles dedicated many years of his career serving as a Probation Officer for Brazoria County, where he was respected for his commitment to justice and community service. His educational background included a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin in River Falls, Wisconsin, followed by a Master of Arts in Education from Johnson State College in Vermont. Additionally, he pursued nursing education in Superior, Wisconsin, showcasing a lifelong passion for learning and helping others.

Proudly serving his country, Charles was a medic in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. His service earned him an Honorable Discharge, reflecting his commitment and bravery in the face of adversity.

Family was of utmost importance to Charles, and he regarded them as his proudest accomplishment. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda (Cater) Bostrom; daughters Tara Denham and her husband Bryan of Sweeny, Texas, and Leah Bostrom of Sweeny, Texas; and son Andrew Bostrom and his wife Lorissa of West Columbia, Texas. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Carson, Caiden, Addie, Cameron, Kinslee, Bran, and Phoebe. Charles also leaves behind siblings Lori Jelinski (Larry), Jerry Bostrom (Lee), and Carol Bostrom, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will remember him fondly.

Throughout his life, Charles enjoyed various hobbies and interests, including a steadfast loyalty to the Green Bay Packers, fishing, woodworking, shopping for antiques, and collecting old bottles.

Charlie's legacy is interwoven with the love and guidance he provided to those around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Violet (Jacobsen) and Leonard C. Bostrom, as well as siblings Marilyn Rentschler, David Bostrom, Sandy Matheson and his granddaughter Violet Bostrom.

Visitation services will be held at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas. The first visitation will take place on August 25, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a second visitation on August 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on the same day at 10:00 AM, concluding at 10:45 AM.

Charles Lee Bostrom will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him. His extraordinary life touches countless hearts, and his contributions will resonate in the lives he impacted.
