Charles Anthony "Tony" Poss, 63 of Van Vleck, passed from this life on Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Houston, Texas. He was born on May 5, 1954 in Athens, Georgia to Charles Henry and Betty (Smith) Poss. He was honored to be a part of the United States Army and was also a proud environmental business owner. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and working on the family ranch.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Rev. Matt Springfield of Nichols Street Church of Christ officiating.

Tony is survived by his wife, Karen Poss; children, Shane Poss and wife, Missy and their children, Morgann and Matt; Tara Tullis and husband, Jim Bob and their son, Caleb; Jolynn Woods and husband, Clint and their children, Lacy and Clay; and Michael Wayne Hopkins and wife, Tara and their children, Holden Hopkins and Tyler and Lance Nunley; mother, Betty Booth and Dave Collins; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Henry Poss; sister, Sissy; and grandson, Blake Hopkins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tony's name to the Harvest House Ministry of Nichols Street Church of Christ 1200 Nichols St. Bay City, Texas 77414.
