Christopher Louis Jankowski, 77, was born August 25, 1948, in Houston, Texas, to Louis and Alma Jane Jankowski. He was called home to the Lord on February 28, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Chris shared a loving marriage with his wife, Ann Miller Jankowski, for 37 beautiful years.

He is survived by his sons, Ryan Jankowski and wife Jenna, and their children Aubrey, Jacob, and Lucas; John Jankowski and his children Zoe, Max, Tye, and Ivy; and stepson, Stormy Miller. Chris was a proud and loving father and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his family. They brought him immense joy and were one of his greatest blessings.

He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Jeana Jankowski; his sister and brother-in-law, CJ and Gary Aber; and his brother-in-law, Roger Fulton. He was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Fulton.

Chris attended St. Peter’s Catholic School and graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg, Texas, where he was a standout athlete. He later attended Blinn College in Brenham. He spent his entire career in the oil field industry. For the last 16 years of his career, he worked for Enterprise Products as a Field Service Technician, where he was respected for his knowledge, reliability, and steady presence.

Chris had a deep love for life and adventure. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling across the country and around the world, and cruising around Sugar Lakes. Whether on the water, in the woods, or exploring a new destination, he was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved.

Chris will be remembered for his strength, his generous heart, and his unwavering love for his family. His courage during his battle with cancer reflected the resilience and determination that defined his life. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, integrity, and countless cherished memories. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
