Dennis “Bubba” Deiss Jr., 62 of Needville, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Bubba was born on April 21, 1961, in Angleton, Texas to the late Dennis Deiss Sr. and Mildred Taylor of Damon, Texas.
Bubba ambitiously began his working man profession at a very young age as a truck driver hauling heavy equipment. He was also a self-taught mechanic who could work on anything that had nuts, bolts, or wheels. He then rounded out his career in the oil and gas industry for 40 years of combined dedication that took him to see many places on this great earth.
Bubba is survived by sons Allen Fox and wife Patricia, Daniel Fox and wife Crystal, grandsons Brandon Fox, Dylan Fox, and wife Savana all of whom reside in Calallen, Texas.
He is also survived by his sister Denise Vega, nephew Pete Vega Jr. and wife Kristi, niece Patsy Jakubec and husband Greg all of whom reside in Needville, Texas. His great nieces and nephews Kylie Vega and Kade Bickham, Kaylin Leachman and husband Caleb, Kyndal Vega and fiancé Colt Hough, Kaden Jakubec, and Ethan Vega.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty and his brother-in-law, Pete Vega Sr.
Pallbearers are Ethan Vega, Kaden Jakubec, Scotty Adams, Derek Lindeman, Gabriel Herrera, Rhett Wieghat and Derek Fojtik as honorary pallbearer.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, May 24 from 5:00 – 7:00pm at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, 634 S. Columbia Drive, West Columbia, Texas and again on Thursday, May 25 from 9:00-10:00am at Creekside Christian Fellowship Church in Needville, Texas. Funeral services are to begin at 10:00am with interment to follow at Yelderman Cemetery in Damon, Texas.
