Dianna was born on May 6, 1961, in New Gulf, Texas to Daniel and Lorene Brown.
Dianna grew up in the Cedar Brake Community and was a faithful member of St. Mary AME Church serving as Sunday School Secretary and member of the choir until her health failed. She attended schools in West Columbia Texas and graduated from Columbia High School, Class of 1979 and attended Wharton County Junior College.
In her spare time, she loved crafting, sewing, crocheting, flower gardening and spending time with her siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. Dianna was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan win or lose. Dianna decorated for all holidays and had t-shirts for each. After a 32-year battle with kidney disease and other ailments, she transitioned on July 17, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and one nephew.
Dianna leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Sandra Farris of West Columbia; Teresa Brown of Danciger; brothers, Leonard Tolbert (Sharon) of Danciger; Daniel Tolbert (Edna) of Lake Jackson; Christopher Brown; Kevin Brown of Old Ocean, LaWayne Brown (Tina) of West Columbia, DaWayne Brown (Karen) of Danciger, 2 nieces Danielle and Brittany Brown, whom she helped raised,6 aunts, 2 uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
