Donna Denise Frankum

Donna Denise Frankum, born on January 12, 1960, to Edward Lee Frankum Sr. and Joan Bownds Frankum, passed from this earth and entered Heaven on December 25, 2023, at the age of 63 years, 11 months, and 13 days.

Although Donna could not talk, she had her ways of communication and interaction. She brought much joy to her family. She enjoyed all the birthday celebrations, music, and Christmas time with all the many bright lights.

Over the last few years, Donna has had many good caregivers while living with her parents, for which the family is grateful, and a very special thank you to Gemma and Maribel for their dependability, dedication, and compassionate care for Donna, even after the death of her parents, and during the process of being transitioned to A Little Something Different group home in Houston.

Donna is survived by her brother, Edward Lee Frankum Jr. (Karen), sister, Kerry Finley (Eddie), and Nancie Irwin (Gary); three nieces, Karley Frankum, Gretchen Finley, and Esther Irwin, four nephews, Pete Frankum, Jake Finley (Murissa), Ethan Irwin, and Garrett Irwin. Great nephew Haddon Lee Finley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Joan Frankum, maternal grandparents, Reverend Roy and Bessie Bownds, and paternal grandparents, Sam and Marie Frankum.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday December 30^th, 10:00 a.m. at C.T. Baker Funeral Home  634 S. Columbia Dr.  West Columbia, TX 77486.  Funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend David Murff officiating.   Interment to follow at Brazoria Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers are Pete Frankum, Jake Finley, Ethan Irwin and Garrett Irwin.

A big thank you to all the wonderful  group home staff for their great care and compassion.

Donna lived in a home with her two roommates, Karen and Glenda.
