Dorothy Kees

Dorothy Faye Kees, 87, of Brazoria, Texas passed away at her home on Monday, December 18, 2017. She was born November 30, 1930 in Dallas, Texas to George August and Catherine Louise (Hergesheimier) Dreckshage. She was a teacher for CBISD and a member of First United Methodist Church in Brazoria.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Friday, December 22, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Brazoria with Pastor Don Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening at Baker Funeral Home in Brazoria from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Ray, Anthony Smith, David Cunningham, Billy Seals, Ronnie Dreckshage, Keith Barnes, Steve Kees & Gary Kees.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Roger Lee Kees of Brazoria; daughter, Lou Ann Walker and husband, JD; grandsons, Seth and Dustin Walker; 1 great granddaughter; 5 nephews and 1 niece.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger Alonzo Kees; and 3 siblings.
