Dorothy O'Neal

Dorothy Louise Duncan O'Neal, 90, of Brazoria went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 28, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 15, 1927 to Ulton Clarence & Ada Lucille Duncan in Prattville, Alabama.
Dorothy and her husband, Paul, brought their young family from Alabama to Texas in 1952. They owned and operated O'Neal Cleaners in Sweeny for 40+ years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and will always be lovingly remembered.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richard O'Neal & wife, Dinah, Katherine Slack & husband, Bernard, Annette Chancey & husband, Robert, Clarence (Rusty) O'Neal, Sandra Holland, Pamela Hill & husband, Marce, and Betty Liles & husband, Tom; sisters, Betty Smitherman and Julia Smith.
All because two people fell in love, there are 25 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, & 14 great great grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Paul Sr.; son, Paul Jr. (Butch); brother, Clarence Duncan and 6 Angels.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Cedar Lane Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Bro. Mike Patterson and Bro. Gene Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 1:00 pm until service time. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
