Eleanor Smith Boeker

Eleanor Catherine Smith Boeker (Dee), age 89, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Lake Jackson, Texas. Eleanor was born July 18, 1932, to Felix Eugene Smith and Catherine Brandolph Smith. She attended Cotulla High School.

Eleanor was a member of Sweeny Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, history, and ranching with her husband.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Catherine Smith; her husband, Robert Lee Boeker Sr.; Daughter, Debbie Lynn Sanders-Williams; and sisters Geraldine Smith and Gertrude Pesklo.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Robert Lee Boeker Jr. (Evelyn), and Mary Ann Prihoda (Jimmy); sister, Lillian Mitchell of California; grandchildren, Michael Lee Sanders, Jimmy Lee Prihoda, Jene Danford, Christie Mattos, Sharon Boeker, and Paul Boeker; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in Brazoria, Texas, on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. A Memorial Service will follow at11:00 A.M., at the same location with Pastor Ernie Hutchings officiating.
