Elizabeth Crow

Elizabeth Wynell Hairrell Butler Crow, 85, of Sweeny, TX passed from this life on Monday May 24, 2021.  She was born on August 18, 1935 in Peeltown, Texas to Luther E. and Opal B. (Thompson) Hairrell. Wynell enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family. She also enjoyed polka dancing, watching John Wayne westerns on television, and also any Matthew McConaughey film.  She was a long time member of the Old Ocean First Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law; Ronnell and Barry Crowder of Lake Jackson, TX; grandchildren; Joshua Quentin Cole of Fairplay, CO, and Elizabeth O’Shea Butler Bushnell (Jared), brother; Larry William Hairrell (Carol Ann) of Hearne, TX; and 5 great-grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; Luther E. and Opal B. (Thompson) Hairrell, husbands; D. Ronald Butler and Joseph Allen Crow, son; Ronald Wynn Butler; and sister; Joyce Fern Conrad.

Graveside services will be held for the family, at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest Cemetery in West Columbia, TX.
