With profound love and heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose presence was a gift to all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, nurturing mother, a cherished daughter, and a beloved sister- each role carried with a depth of love that knew no limits.
She is proceeded in death by her son, Eric Henderson, her mother Stella Ledbetter and brother Bradley Ledbetter.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Dennis Henderson; Daughters, Jessica Henderson and Courtney Frazier (Ralph); Grandchildren Nija Townsend Jr and Zoe Townsend; Father, Dr. Roy L. Ledbetter, brothers Bruce Lebetter (Belinda) and Roy A. Ledbetter (Julie); Sister in law, Kendall D. Rylander (Chuck); as well as all her nieces and nephews and extended family members.
She was the heart of her home, a constant partner whose love never waivered,
As a wife, she created a life grounded in loyalty, compassion and unwavering support- a safe place where love always lived.
As a mother, she was a guiding light, a protector and a teacher. Her arms were a place of comfort, her words a source of wisdom, and her love a steady foundation that will continue to shape and carry her children through life. She made ordinary moments extraordinary, filling each day with warmth, laughter, and meaning.
As a daughter, she was a beautiful reflection of her parents love- a source of pride, joy and endless gratitude. As a sister she was more than family, she was a lifelong friend, a confidant, and a steady presence whose bond could never be broken.
She will be remembered for her radiant spirit, her gentle yet unshakeable strength, and her compassion that touched everyone she met. She had a contagious personality and to know her was to feel seen, valued and deeply loved. Her laughter was a melody, and her kindness a shelter for so many.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely. It remains woven into the lives she touched, the family she cherished, and the memories that will be held close forever.
She loved deeply, lived fully, and leaves behind a legacy that will never fade. She will be dearly missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
