Gary Kocurek

Gary Lynn Kocurek, 66 of Pledger, passed from this life on Sunday, August 26, 2018. He was born on March 19, 1952 in Palacios, Texas to Peter and Edith (Shimek) Kocurek.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Pastor Jeff McDonald officiating.

Gary is survived by his wife, Jan Kocurek; sons, Ricky Kocurek and wife, Lucy, David Tuggle, James Tuggle and wife, Deanna, and Jackson Tuggle and wife, Claudette; daughter, Marshele Lewis and husband, Larry; mother, Edith Kocurek; brother, Glenn Kocurek and wife, Lana; sisters, Freda Schneider and husband, Roger, and Dorene Kocurek; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Peter Kocurek and brother, Darrell Kocurek.
