Gerald Lynn Toler

October 10, 1938 — August 12, 2023


Gerald Lynn Toler, of Lake Jackson, passed into the arms of the Lord on August 12, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was 84.  He was born on October 10, 1938, to Albert Leslie Toler and Ida Tull in Marlin, Texas. 
During his life, Gerald exhibited deep passion for his family, friends, and God. He was an ordained Minister, Pastor with the Wild Peach Baptist Church where you could find him sharing his generosity and willingness with the community. If you needed him on Friday nights, you could find him dancing with the love of his life, Anita. 
Gerald was a safety director for an oil refinery for much of his life. When he was not at work, you could find him deep in his passion of sharing the gospel of the Lord, welding, fishing, or spontaneous trips to the casino where he loved to play the slot machines. Gerald will be remembered by his loving family and the many memories they share. 
Gerald is survived by his wife Anita Cordova Toler, his daughters Terry Toler of Brazoria, Carmen Barnes Toler of Brazoria, Angie Toler of Ohio, two stepdaughters Ana Savoy of Lake Jackson & Rosanna of Peru.  He is also survived by his brother Bill Toler of Lake Jackson.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents Albert Leslie Toler and Ida Tull. 
Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on August 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Brazoria cemetery 501-511 Marion St. Brazoria, TX 77422.
