Glenda Kay Coleman, 72 of Sweeny, TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 6, 2020.  She spent her last days at CHI St. Lukes Hospital in Lake Jackson, TX with her husband by her side. She was born in Madisonville, TX to Otho and Louise Lee. She was an only child and deeply loved and spoiled by her parents.

Glenda was a loving Wife, Mom, Granny and devout Christian. She was married to her husband Ernest (Sonny) Coleman for 54 years. They had 3 sons that were the light of their eyes and spent many joyful years attending their games. They now enjoy watching their grandchildren. She loved this and felt blessed as she and Sonny were able to visit all their friends. She was a town mom and loved having kids over to the house to play and hang out where they were all treated like her own.

She is survived by her husband, Sonny; sons, Michael of Sweeny, Randall of Sweeny and Paul David and wife Samantha of Richmond, TX; granddaughters, Courtnie Taylor, Mallory and husband Johnny Huebinger IV, Alyssa Coleman and Macey Coleman; grandson, Caleb Coleman; great-granddaughters, Emylee Trueba and Parker Taylor; and great-grandson, John Huebinger V.

A graveside service will be held at Sweeny Cemetery on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 2PM. The service will be conducted by Dr. R.E. Breazelle, pastor of Wild Peach Community Church.
