Glenda McAdams

June 21, 1938 — March 3, 2024

Glenda Fay McAdams (Eversole), of Brazoria, Texas, Stitched her final thread into the fabric of our lives on March 3, 2024. Born in Woodsboro, Texas on the 21st of June, to Aubry Dean Sr and Glady's Marie (Brumbelow) Eversole. She Wove a vibrant pattern through her 85 years. Leaving us a tapestry of memories.

Glenda's life was a patchwork of artistry and adventure. With a palette as colorful as her personality, a gift for the Arts passed down from her mother, Marie, expressing her creative flair through oil painting.

But it was with needle and thread that Glenda truly embroidered her mark on the world. Often referred to as "The Sewing Lady", for her craftsmanship in creating the snazziest of ties, bow ties and waistcoats, leaving her customer looking sharp and dressed to the nine, down to the SpongeBob costume she created for her oldest great grandchild, Raymond, to the simplest alterations of uniforms for the Jailors and judges. She tailored joy into every seam and hem.

Her remarkable culinary abilities brought family and friends together around the table, where she lovingly taught her granddaughter's the intricate joys of cooking.

She took great pride in supporting her granddaughter's softball team. Her presence at games was a source of encouragement and affection, endearingly earning her the title of "Team Grandma."

Glenda attended Needville Highschool. She later devoted many years to Texas Instruments, alongside her mother.

Her journey with her late husband, Robert "Bobby" McAdams, took them on the highway of life as team drivers, trucking down memory lane and across the U.S. map. They never tired of the scenic route, and their love was the best copilot.

Glenda’s greatest creations in life came from her first love and late husband, Johnny Ray Boff Sr. Son’s, Johnny Ray Boff Jr and Stephen Michael Boff and Daughter Tammy Renee Boff.

Glenda’s pattern of life is carried on by her son, Stephen "Mike" & Wife, Vee Ann Boff, daughter Tammy (Boff) Lincecum, grandchildren: Leah (Boff) & Charles Edwards, Trevor Lincecum, Sabrina (Lincecum) & Husband, Robert Harrison, and Mandi Lincecum.

Glenda's memory is a treasure that will be upheld by those she loved and who loved her in return.

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.

I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

The family wishes to convey their appreciation to Holly and Greg Todd, Helen and Jere Delaune, and Virgil Crouson for their steadfast support and friendship, which brought great comfort to Glenda and Bobby.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be announced, where family and friends can come together to honor and remember Glenda. We say goodbye to Glenda with heavy hearts, knowing that her spirit and the memories she gave us will endure forever.
