Glenn Mike Williams, 67, of Angleton, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on September 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS.

Born December 20, 1957, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he was the son of the late Gordon Stanley Williams and Norma Jean Williams. A graduate of Hutchinson High School (1976) and Wayland Baptist University (2002), Glenn devoted his life to service, family, and country.

He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1976, serving as an Aircraft Maintainer with distinction until his retirement as a Master Sergeant in 2000. Over the course of his military career, he earned three Meritorious Service Medals and three Air Force Commendation Medals. Following his active-duty service, Glenn continued to serve the mission as a civilian in quality assurance with both the Air Force and the Defense Contract Management Agency, retiring from civil service in 2022. His dedication and excellence were recognized through numerous honors, including being named the 12th Operations Group Civilian of the Year in 2002 and 2007, and Randolph Air Force Base’s Civilian Innovator of the Year in 2007.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Glenn was known for his deep love of family and country. He loved music, particularly 1970s rock and roll and outlaw country, and he could often be found on the dance floor. He also had a lifelong passion for cars and never tired of talking about his beloved Ford Mustang. A devoted dog lover, Glenn especially cherished cocker spaniels, having shared his life with five over the years. Most importantly, he was a loyal husband, a proud father, and an enthusiastic grandfather.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jan Williams, whom he first met in 1973 in a high school science class. He is also survived by his children, Jayson, Lisa Bellón, and Teresa Williams; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition, he leaves behind a wide-reaching network of service-connected brothers and sisters in arms, forged through decades of shared duty, sacrifice, and camaraderie.

He will be remembered as a patriot, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched.
