Glenna Shannon

Jurehee Shannon was born July 9, 1941 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  She married Grover Shannon on October 19, 1957. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pauline & Alton Lucas & brother, Ronnie Lucas.  Jurehee is survived by her spouse of 63 years, Grover R. Shannon, Jr. of Sweeny, and daughters, Debra Kilgore & her spouse, Jim Kilgore and Gina Sanderson & her spouse, Glenn Sanderson.  She is also survived by granddaughters, Kristi Brasel & spouse, Trevor and Amy Alford & spouse, Barry; and great grandchildren, Sydney Brasel, Lance Brasel, Lucas Alford, and Eli Alford.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, November 12, 2020 at New Shores Baptist Church, located at 6303 FM 1459 in Sweeny. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm until service time. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Smith, Jim Kilgore, Glenn Sanderson, Trevor Brasel, Barry Alford, and Les Klutz.
