Gloria Acosta

Gloria Ester Acosta, age 59, passed away on December 9th, 2020 due to cancer. She was born in Parral, Mexico to Diodoro and Elena Acosta, the oldest and only girl of four.

At the young age of 18, with her unmatched work ethic, she moved to America in pursuit of a better life. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Abraham and Juan Estrada.

She is survived by her three younger brothers, Jose, Tolin, and Chame Acosta and her two sons.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at C. T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm until service time. Attendance will be limited to 100 people due to COVID restrictions.
