Helen Irene Mitchell

Helen Irene Mitchell, 95, of Sugarland, Texas was guided into the arms of the lord September 22, 2023. Helen Mitchell was born May 29, 1928, in Thermopolis, Wyoming to the late Alice Pearl Foster and David Matthew Vandaveer.

She graduated from Neodesha, Kansas high school and worked at Philips Petroleum in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where she met and married the love of her life, Norris W. Mitchell.

She is survived by her son, David Mitchell (Chris), daughter-in-law Diane Mitchell, and grandchildren Jacob Mitchell, Alix Slattery, Benjamin Strickland, and Michael Strickland. She is preceded by her husband of 64 years, Norris, and son, Robert.

A memorial of life service will be held at a future date provided by her family.
