Ismael Zepeda

Ismael (Mel) Zepeda age 39 of Lake Jackson, Texas passed from this earth on August 20th, 2021 in Houston.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Lucio and Usdelia Zepeda and Oralia Reyes.

He is survived by his parents Rosie and Adam Zepeda Sr. His wife of 15 years Jennifer Zepeda. Children Caleb, Ryli, Sadey, Tylaina, Marley, and Zane.  Brother Adam Zepeda Jr, Sister Ana Zepeda, Mother in law Maria Barron. Closest friends Oscar Rodriguez and Jason Brymer and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mel was born on September 26th 1981 to Rosie and Adam Zepeda in Richmond Texas.  He was an avid "street racer" He loved fast cars. He was a member of Gulf coast street kings car club. He loved to sing and always had a smile, a laugh, and a cold beer ready for friends. He loved to BBQ and was eager to cook for everyone. He loved his family. He was an exceptional Father, husband, and friend.

Services for Mel will be held at Iglesia Centro Christiana in West Columbia, on Friday August 27, 2021. Viewing from 10-11 and a church service at 11 with Pastor's Richard Garza and

Danny Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Adam Zepeda Sr, Adam Zepeda Jr, Caleb Zepeda, Seth Livingston, Oscar Rodriguez, and Jason Brymer, escorted by Zane Zepeda. Mel will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at 114 south Columbia drive West Columbia Tx. The family has a gofund me account set up to help with funeral cost and expenses.
