Jaime Alicia Moore, née McElyea, of Sweeny, Texas, passed away on April 19, 2024. She was born on August 6, 1983, in Athens, Alabama. Jaime was a resilient individual known for her unwavering strength and selflessness. Throughout her courageous battle with cancer, she never once voiced a complaint or focused on her own struggles; instead, she dedicated herself to putting others before herself.

Jaime's journey was marked by remarkable milestones and deep connections. A proud veteran of the United States Army, she served as a paralegal and found love in fellow soldier Steven Moore. The two exchanged vows on February 24, 2014, in Colorado Springs, CO, embarking on a shared path filled with love and devotion.

Among her many interests and passions, one stood out above all - her unwavering dedication to Alabama Football. ROLL TIDE echoed through her life as a testament to her fierce spirit and loyalty.

Jaime's proudest accomplishment was her beloved son Mason James Moore, whom she cherished above all else. Her legacy lives on through him and the memories they shared.

She is survived by her loving husband Steven Moore; cherished son Mason James Moore; devoted parents Alice and James McElyea of Athens, AL; caring sister Tammi Gates and her husband Mike of Madison, AL; supportive brothers Scott McElyea and his wife Susie of Rogersville, AL, Jimmy McElyea and his wife Cheryl of Athens, AL; Jeff McElyea and his wife Char of Rogersville, AL; as well as her in-laws Linda & Chester Moore of Houston, TX.

Services to honor Jaime's life will be held at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia for visitation on April 25th from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM followed by a graveside service with full military honors at Sweeny Cemetery in Sweeny, TX at 4:00 PM.

In the peaceful embrace of her family, Jaime Moore bid farewell to this world to find solace in the arms of the Lord. Her memory will forever be treasured by those whose lives she touched with her kindness and strength.

May she rest in eternal peace.
