Jannie Kilsby

Jannie Ann Kilsby, 77, of Sweeny, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2021 in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Jannie was born on December 16th, 1943 in Damon, Texas to David and Margaret VonCannon.

Jannie was a loving mother, sister, aunt, granny and friend to those that knew her. She loved simple things in life such as fried chicken, Elvis Presley, watching Lifetime Movies, and was an avid animal lover.

Jannie is preceded in death by her parents, brother Johnny Ray Roberts, and sister Jackie Lynn Anderson.

Left with cherished memories are one brother, David Crockett VonCannon Jr of Groesbeck;  two sisters, Evelyn Stuart of Sweeny, Nancy Burt of Damon, her son Wayne Allen and wife Christine Yount of Damon, son Tony Ray Kilsby of Tennessee, daughter Dale Jeanette and husband Robert Cox of Sweeny, grandsons Ricky Kilsby, Thomas and Lonnie Cox as well as many other relatives and friends.

The family will welcome loved ones for a visitation at 10 A.M. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, TX. Memorial services will follow the visitation at 11 A.M with Steve Bass officiating.
