Jay Meyer

Jay was a loving husband and father. He was a long-time resident of Brazoria County. He enjoyed drag racing, motorcycles, and living life to the fullest. Left to cherish Jay’s memory are his wife, Lona Meyer; his children; Jordan (Meyer) Shaw, Zachary Boone, Rocky Thomas, Bruce Meyer, and Lacy (Meyer) Wood; his brothers, Gary and Leslie Meyer, and their families. Awaiting Jay’s arrival in Heaven are his parents, grandparents, brother, and niece.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 5-7:30pm at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia. There will be a Celebration of Life at Oyster Creek Park on Sunday, March 19 starting at 2pm.
