John Palfreyman

John "JP" Palfreyman, 76 of Angleton, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018. He was born on March 7, 1942 in Bedworth, England to William and Mary (Smith) Palfreyman. John loved American and English history and the "Royal" family, along with his Sheppard's pie. He was an avid gun collector and loved cars. John loved spending time with his family and loved his dogs as much as he did his children.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time. Burial will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Serving as pallbearers will be Russ Whisonant, Dennis Hensley, Hoyt Lowe, Bob Ford, Mike Coleman, and Garrett Hart.

John is survived by his wife, Rita Palfreyman; daughters, Angela Flores, Donna Whisonant, and Lara Palfreyman; grandchildren, Madison Whisonant, Samantha Garcia, Emily Anderson, Andrew Flores, and Chris Flores; and great-grandchildren, Emma Flores and Sophie Flores.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
