Kathryn Adrian Stanger, 101, of Brazoria, passed from this life on Friday, August 7, 2020 in Angleton, Texas. She was born on March 31, 1919 in East Columbia, Texas to Albert and Ruth (Hagemeier) Beal.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Kathryn is survived by her son, Russell S. Stanger, III and wife, Mary; daughters, Dr. Kittie Stanger and Camille Babb; nephews, J. Dixie Beal, D. Wayne Beal and wife, Tami, Ed McGaughey and wife, Suzanne, Tommy McGaughey and wife, Neva, and Cleveland McGaughey; nieces, Jeannie Whitten, Laurie Kincannon and husband, Kim, Suzan Smith and husband, James, Linese Tejeda and husband, David, Carol Beal, and Margie Bertand and husband, Dean; grandchildren, Caleb R. Stanger and wife, Jenay, David W. Derstine and wife, Susan, Karianne Derstine, Cardiff C. Babb, and John R. Stanger and husband, Guthrie Graves-Fitzsimmons; and great-grandchildren, Luke Derstine, Joshua Stanger, Jesse Stanger, and Jenna Stanger.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, R. S. Stanger, Jr.; brothers, Albert Henry Beal, Chauncey F. Beal, Harold Beal, Owen J. Beal, and Dixie C. Beal; sisters, Ethel Beal Pierce, Mary Louise Hellums, and Ruth McGaughey; and nephews, Don Michael Beal, Bob Hellums, Alan Beal, Bob Pierce and Jess Henry Beal.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathryn's name to  to AMED Hospice in Angleton.
