Kim Billings

Kim Eric Billings, 62, loving husband, father, and brother was called home by our Lord on 6/3/2021, peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones.

Kim was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 28th, 1959 to Dale and Eva Billings. He was raised in Brazoria, Texas where he met his wife Patricia of 33 years. They wed in 1988 and have a son Kevin. Following graduation from Columbia High School in 1977, Kim began a fulfilling 37 year career at Dow Chemical initially in operations and transferring into the maintenance crafts. He retired as a Pipe Welder in 2018 and spent time providing support as a Plant Union Steward.

Kim was an avid sportsman and enjoyed his retirement years hunting and fishing with his son and buddies. He also loved spending time with his two dogs and traveling with his family.

Kim will be forever missed by so many but will be remembered for his love of family, generous spirit, abundant knowledge, contagious enthusiasm, and his extreme love of life.

Kim was preceded in death by his step daughter, Michelle Ann King and is survived by wife, Patricia; son, Kevin Billings of Longmont, CO; his parents, Dale and Eva Billings of Midland MI; Brothers, Rick Billings and wife Anita of Bear Lake, Mi, and Jeff Billings and wife Beckey of Splendora, TX. He is also survived by his loving nephews and niece.

Visitation will be held at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, 634 S. Columbia Dr, West Columbia TX from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Chaplain Kimberly Woda will officiate a prayer vigil at 6:00 pm

Funeral mass will be held at 10am Friday, June 11th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Brazoria, TX (219 County Rd 762, Brazoria, TX 77422) with Rev. Tin Pham officiating.

Interment will be followed at Brazoria Cemetery
