Laura Harris

Laura Lea Harris, 69, of Brazoria passed from this life in Houston on April 18, 2019. She was born in Angleton on March 19, 1950.

Laura was a simple and selfless person who loved the Lord and always put God first, along with her family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Brazoria First Assembly with Bro. Joe Irwin officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are James Padon, Joe Siegel, Brian York, Sampson Kirkland, Preston Harris , and Jesse Opperud.

Left to cherish her memory are husband, Sterling Harris; children, James Padon & wife, Stacy, Sheryl York & husband, Brian, Kelly Kirkland & husband, Sampson, Duane Harris, Preston Harris, Tracey King & Amanda Thompson; sister, Penny Siegel & husband, Joe; grandchildren, Heather Rafiq & husband, Usman, Kristin Tomlinson, Jesse Opperud, Hannah Hutchison & husband, Jordan, Steven Elrod, Jordan Opperud, Brianna York, Justin, Johnathan & Destinee Kirkland; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Juanita Kennedy; aunts, Marion Howard and Rose Brown.
