Lauren Anderson

Lauren Ashley Anderson, 38, of Lake Jackson, passed from this world to her Savior’s side on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. She was at Brazosport Hospital fighting her hardest battle, and her heart just wore out. Lauren Ashley was born on December 5th, 1983, to Danny Anderson and Lorenda Butler Anderson Drabek.

Lauren grew up in the First Baptist Church in West Columbia, singing with the youth praise team, and singing in the choir at Columbia Junior and High Schools. Lauren grew up to be a great bookkeeper and administrator and became a member of Willow Drive Church.

Lauren was predeceased by her grandparents, Donald and Georgia Butler, Robert and Loreba Anderson, brother-in-law, Paul David Reynolds, and Grandfather Frank Drabek Sr.

Left to cherish her sweet memory are her precious daughter Peyton Elizabeth Anderson, her parents, Lorenda and Frank Drabek, and Danny and Trena Anderson; sisters Courtney Leigh Reynolds, Whitney Morgan Naquin (Devin), Avery Morgan, Tonya Drabek Dunn (DuWayne), and Chara Drabek Tipp (Terry), and grandmothers Lucille Drabek and Mary Anderson, Lauren Ashley was so very loved by all of her aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. We lost our brightest light here on earth, but Heaven is so much brighter with her there, and oh, the sweet sound of her singing for her Lord!  We can only imagine...

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon prior to the services.

A celebration of Life for Lauren will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in the chapel of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Colby Wallace officiating, in West Columbia.
