Lavinia Brumbelow

Lavinia "Bonnie" Brumbelow, 75 of Damon, went to her heavenly home on October 19, 2017. She was born on October 28, 1941 in El Campo, Texas to Russell and Trillie Thompson. She married the love of her life, William Hiram Brumbelow on April 15, 1959. Bonnie was a Jill of all trades. She was a very imaginative soul and there wasn't anything she couldn't accomplish once she set her mind to it. Bonnie was a park host to many places such as New Mexico, Colorado, California, and Michigan. She loved reading, spending time outdoors, and being around her family. Though she was a member of Damon Community Church, she became very involved in the church over the past few months.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Damon Community Church with Steven Brumbelow officiating. Burial will follow at Yelderman Cemetery in Damon. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 also at the church. Serving as pallbearers are Timmy Day, Hunter Brumbelow, Coleman Brumbelow, Tommy Schuelke, Ricky Miller, Freddie Enriquez, Bimbo Robertson and Roger Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Shane Brumbelow and Fred Sauer.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Bill Brumbelow; son, Brady Brumbelow and wife, Debbie; daughter, Laverne Collier and husband, Jack; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Brumbelow; grandchildren, Timmy Day, Crystal Day, Hunter Brumbelow, Coleman Brumbelow, Abby Brumbelow, Lisa Bowman, Tabitha Hendrix, Becky Lee, Racheal Brumbelow, Shane Brumbelow, and Audrey Brumbelow; brother, Arlan Thompson; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, William Ray Brumbelow, Sr.; sister, Trissie Arnold; and grandson, William Ray Brumbelow, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bonnie's name to the Damon Community Church.
