Lee Freeman

Lee “Frank” Franklin Freeman entered his heavenly home on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in a hospital in Houston, TX.  Frank was born in New Lima, Oklahoma on April 15, 1942, and spent his childhood days in Sentinel, OK. As a survivor of polio, he graduated from Sentinel High School in 1960. Frank later relocated to Angleton with his wife and children. He worked for the Dow Chemical Company as a boilermaker/welder, retiring 28 years later in 1997 after making his new home in Damon, TX with his new wife. Frank was raised in the Church of Christ and remained a faithful member until his death. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed raising livestock such as cattle, goats, horses, pheasants, quail, peacocks, and other breeds of birds.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, James Dean and Lula Mae, brothers Terry, Joe, and Roy.

Those left to reflect on his life and cherish memories with him are his loving and faithful wife, Carolyn, of 35 years. His children include Robert and Fasha Freeman, Mike and Theresa Freeman, Cynthia and Jean-Pierre Farkas, Sheila Varela, Kenny and Peggy Jakubec, Mike and Christy Jakubec and Scott and Amanda Jakubec.  Frank leaves a legacy of 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Other survivors include his brother Wendell, first wife, Linda Sargent, nieces, nephews, cousins and his dogs Bear and Muffin.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at C.T. baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Tx.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 2:00 pm. in the Chapel of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Yelderman Cemetery in Damon, TX.
