Lockett Chandler

Lockett Chandler, 88, of Sweeny passed from this life on May 11, 2017 in Angleton surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Donie, Texas on Dec. 6, 1928 to Andrew D. Sr. & Carmie Lee Richardson .
Lockett was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry Chandler & wife, Pam, Craig Chandler & wife, Vickie, Glenda Curlee & husband, Bubba, Michelle Chandler; brothers, A. D. "Sonny" Richardson Jr. & wife, Lajuan and Danny Ray Richardson & wife, Jane; sisters, Verdell Lord, Gloria Jean Murphy & husband, Don, Carolyn Dunn; grandchildren, Heather Viamonte & husband, Carlo, Steven Chandler & wife, Amy, Doug Chandler, Brittnie Chandler, Rebecca Rice & husband, Alex, Cheryl Ann Curlee; great grandchildren, Cristian Viamonte, Avery Lenea, Lilly Monzingo, Paislee Rice, Georgia Rice, Bobbi Jean Curlee & Audrey Curlee; former daughter in law, Lesa Kilsby Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orbrie Gene Chandler; sisters, Bobbie Sue Stewart and Patsy Wright; grandson, Bobby Gene Curlee.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Sweeny Cemetery with John Price officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 10:00 am until noon at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia.
