Louise Girardo

Louise Girardo, 85, of West Columbia, Texas, passed from this life on Sunday, December 9, 2018. She was born on September 9, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York to Luigi and Maria (Panati) Pernice.

A funeral mass will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Lake Jackson, Texas with Monsignor Leo Wleczyk officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Sweeny Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia.

Louise is survived by her children, Dianne McClure and husband, Doug, Debra Kinnas, and Leonard Girardo and wife, Kristin; grandchildren, Dina Quin and husband, Matt, Marissa Jones, Christine Erwin and husband, Lucas, Dale Ryan, Jr. and wife, Brooke, Terrence Zaino, Tyler Zaino, Christopher Girardo, and Ella Girardo; along with great-grandchildren, Ricky Jones, Alexis Page, Mackynzie Ryan, Tyler Jones, Maci Quin, Morgan Quin, Ava Erwin, Greysen Erwin, and Raylie Ryan.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Girardo; sister, Rena Lucardi; and brother, Peter Pernice.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louise's name to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
