Manuel Richard Campus

Manuel Richard Campus, a retired truck driver who cherished his family and friends, has passed away at the age of 65. Born on October 19, 1957, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Manuel was raised by his loving mother Ada.

Throughout his life, Manuel displayed a strong bond with his loved ones. His devotion to his family and friends was unmatched as he would go to great lengths to ensure their happiness and well-being. Always eager to lend a helping hand, Manuel was known for his generosity and willingness to assist anyone who approached him.

In addition to his caring nature, Manuel had several passions that brought him joy. Fishing became one of his cherished pastimes; the tranquility of the water filled him with peace and contentment. Traveling was another endeavor that enriched Manuel's life. Exploring new places and experiencing different cultures allowed him to broaden his horizons.

But perhaps one of Manuel's greatest joys was riding his side by side vehicle with his wife Mary.  He reveled in the thrill of the open road, it was during these exhilarating rides that Manuel truly felt alive.

With a charismatic personality and outgoing demeanor, Manuel had an uncanny ability to connect with others effortlessly. He possessed an innate ability to strike up conversations with strangers as if they were lifelong friends. This captivating quality endeared him to everyone he encountered.

On July 17, 2023, Manuel passed away in Lake Jackson, Texas. His departure has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him dearly. While we mourn his loss, it is important to remember the vibrant spirit with which he lived.

Manuel leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish the memories they shared together. He is survived by his devoted spouse of 44 years, Mary, brothers Kenny, Paul, and James, step brother Kenny, step sister Theresa, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Manuel's presence in their lives brought immeasurable joy and his memory will forever be etched in their hearts.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Manuel Richard Campus will be held on July 22, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church located at 5050 County Rd 353, Brazoria, Texas, 77422. The service will begin at 3:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM.

As we bid farewell to Manuel Richard Campus, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives. His infectious laughter and unwavering love will forever remain with us. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
