Mark Atkins

Mark Rayburn Atkins, 65, of West Columbia, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Mark was born in Amarillo, Texas on November 14, 1955 to Virginia Cathrine (Patteson) and Rayburn Bailey Atkins. He grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and graduated high school in 1974. He worked for Conoco Phillips and retired in 2011. Most of his life he enjoyed working on cars, fishing and had some bird dogs that he would show for competition several years ago.

Mark is survived by his beloved companion Deanna Beall; brother Gary Atkins and wife Linda; extended family Athena Henry and cousins and a host of friends.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 pm until 2:00pm Friday, August 13, 2021, in the Chapel of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm.
