Mark Riley

Mark Warren Riley was born July 9. 1949, in Neodesha, Kansas, to Earl & Geri Riley, he graduated High School in Neodesha, Kansas, and then continued his education at Pittsburg State (Kansas) in instrumentation and electrical. Mark and his 2 brothers shared a rare/exceptional bond as they were all Eagle Scouts.

Mark has been an active auctioneer since the age of 18 going to Missouri Auction School; although his grandfather had him chanting at an earlier age. He has been associated with cattle, horses and numerous charity and charitable auctions for the past 50 years. In 2006 he was named Texas State Senior Champion Auctioneer. His life was devoted to helping anyone through benefits, schools and especially the Sweeny FFA cake auction, he loved doing this one.
He was also the announcer for the scramble show and Open Beef at the Brazoria Co Fair for over 20 years and the auctioneer for the Galveston County fair. He was also employed with Fish Engineering, McEver Engineering, and numerous other plants and ended his work career with Mustang Rental.

Mark's life dream was to always give back and help those who needed it most.
He was preceded in death by his brother David, Father Earl Riley, his Son Jason Riley, his mother Geri Riley and his oldest son Kenneth Riley.

He is survived by his wife Linda (West Columbia, Tx), daughters Tammy Moyer (San Antonio, Tx) and husband Robert, Stephanie Nash (Columbus, Ks) Lara Riley (Neodesha, Ks); sons Kyle Robnett and wife Tanya (Columbus, Ks) and Stephen Robnett (Columbus, Ks); Brothers John Riley and wife Nancy (Prairie Village, Ks), Richard Riley and wife Ruth(Valley Falls, Ks) along with 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Angleton Lanes, 1040 S. Velasco, Angleton, Texas 77515 in casual attire . The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to a charity benefiting Brazoria County residents.
