Mary Graue

Mary Ann “Memaw” Graue, 75, of Brazoria, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at her residence.

Mary was born October 25, 1945 in Bay City, Texas to the late Mary Arzilla (Burt) and Troy Leonard Meador.

Memaw enjoyed her dog, fried chicken, playing games, reading true crime novels, cooking in the deli at Stewart’s, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren. Also, her favorite flowers were Gladiolas and Petunias.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerrold Alan Graue, four brothers and four sisters.

Mary is survived by her sons Dale Graue and wife Angie, Gary Graue and wife Glenda and Dewayne Graue; grandchildren Destiny Williams and husband Whitfield and Clayton Singletary and wife Crystal; great grandchildren Lexie Williams, Aubrey Williams and Lyric Williams; brother James “Tubby” Meador and wife Gloria.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 prior to the service.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at C.T. Baker and Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas with Pastor John Price officiating. Interment will follow in Sweeny Cemetery.

Pallbearers for Mary will be Tim Meador, James Robert Meador, John Thurmond, Jeromie MacBrohn, Clayton Singletary and Thomas Mendez.
